Plain-language terms for the CEO Hero app and this website.
Using CEO Hero
You must be 16 or older to use CEO Hero. CEO Hero is free to download and use for your own learning. You may not resell the app or its lessons, or copy the course content in bulk to republish it.
Accounts
An account is required. You confirm you are 16 or older when you create one. Keep your password safe; you're responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings › Account. We may suspend accounts used to abuse the service.
Paid plans
Every course, every lesson and the daily briefing are free forever; paid plans add extras and never lock core learning. No Ads, Pro + Ask Bit and Elite are optional auto-renewing subscriptions sold through Google Play on Android and the App Store on iOS. Upgrades start straight away and you pay only the difference for the rest of the period; downgrades start at your next renewal. The price and billing period are shown before you confirm, and the store's terms apply to the payment. It renews until you cancel. On Android, cancel in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions. On iOS, cancel in the App Store. The plan continues until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds follow the store's refund policy and the law where you live. Deleting your account or uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. We may change what a plan includes or its price for future periods; the store will tell you before a price increase applies.
Ads
Free learners can choose to watch a rewarded ad for a heart refill a limited number of times per day. Ads are provided by Google and their content is Google's and the advertiser's responsibility.
Learning content
Lessons are written to teach general concepts in AI, software, business and operations. They are educational, not professional, legal, financial or security advice for your situation. Technology changes quickly, so check important decisions against current official documentation.
Your data
Your progress stays on your device and is synced to your account, as described in the Privacy policy. After one sync, lessons work offline. You are responsible for your device's backups of the on-phone copy.
Rewards
XP, sparks, hearts, streaks, leagues and badges are game features with no cash value. Leagues group you with other signed-in learners. The optional completion reward is covered by the reward terms. These features may change between versions.
Ask Bit and Elite reviews
Ask Bit and Elite reviews are written by an AI model from the course cards. They can be wrong and are educational, not professional, legal, financial or career advice. The Ask Bit screen says this. Don't upload documents you aren't allowed to share.
No warranty
The app and site are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using them.
Trademarks
Google Play and the Google Play logo are trademarks of Google LLC. Apple and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries. CEO Hero is not affiliated with Google or Apple.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version; continuing to use the app means you accept the current terms.
